Asia Vision Technology Limited (AVT) is pleased to announce that it has recently completed an implementation of license plate recognition system (VECON-VIS) in the Asia World Expo Car Park of Hong Kong International Airport for the Hong Kong Airport Authority. Asia World Expo Car Park is an open-air car park offering about 1,000 parking spaces with 2-in & 2-out lanes for both hourly and monthly private car parking at the Airport.
Designed with state-of-the-art VECON technology and equipped with innovative all-in-one color camera with white LED illuminator, the system can effectively detect, recognize and capture the license plate numbers, both reflective and non-reflective, of all incoming and outgoing vehicles at both entrance and exit of the Asia World Expo Car Park. The system also integrates with the designated charging systems, Octopus and Visa, for convenient electronic payment handling at the location.

Its key to success is Automated Software System. An Automated CNR turns the Dalian Dayaowan Phase II be the first-of-its-kind container management requires "ZERO Manpower At IN-OUT-Gate". VECON-CON system is triggered by 4 infra-red sensors along the selected lanes with 2 in pairs.
False trigger by wind shield and container-type trucks are Dalian yaowan Phase II screened out and the system captures and recognizes container numbers, country codes, ISO codes automatically in less than 0.012 seconds from trigger till image capture. The captured images are transmitted to the TOS for processing which enhances efficiency and ensures security while maintaining manpower at the minimal.

Asia Vision Technology has developed new technology to handle similar license plate format for European Union (EU) countries.

Asia Vision Technology has recently completed a new license plate Recognition Module (RM) development technology aimed at handling EU license plate format. The new technology can also be used to develop RM for multiple states countries like United State of America. It shortens the product delivery to customers in those regions. The new technology also enables our LPR system to handle vehicles with similar LP format moving between countries and states which is very common nowadays.
